We’ve been welcoming guests through our doors since the 17th century. Expect roaring fires, brilliant cask ales, award-winning food and a great night’s sleep whether on two feet or four paws.

A day rambling and exploring the south lakes is even better when there is a comfortable bed waiting for you. Our 16 rooms are individual and cosy – some are dog friendly too so don’t leave your four legged friend behind.
